Co-founder of Sisters United (New Zealand)
Kendal Collins grew up in South Auckland, New Zealand and is a proud half-cast, Samoan and European decent and a mother of 3 young boys. Kendal along with her 2 sisters co-founded a new organisation called Sisters United, where they provide programmes and services for Pacific and Maori Young Women in high schools and the community. By combining her skills of Social Work along with Creative Arts, Sisters United provides a safe creative space for young women to discover their identity, build their self-confidence and self-esteem and to learn to love themselves. All this is done through creative arts such as dance, music, spoken word and photography. Kendal is passionate about helping young women discover their fire within and to know their self-worth.
