Co-founder of Skill Mill (Estonia)
Katri-Liis Reimann is an Associate Professor of public management at Tallinn University, Estonia. She is a management consultant and a social entrepreneur. Her company Brainport Living Lab provides consultancy in international projects and strategic management; her family company Reimann Retked engages in provision of educational and adventurous nature trips.
She is a co-founder of Skill Mill, a social enterprise established first in the UK providing environmental maintenance work opportunities for young ex-offenders offering them a work experience and skills. Another affiliated social enterprise E-dible deals with reducing food waste by running cookery training using waste food ingredients and organising waste food pop-up cafes.
Katri-Liis is a management professional with 20 years of experience in delivering international projects. She has experience from working for the private and NGO sectors, including 10 years in management of the Estonian-Finnish cross-border cooperation organisation.
She holds her Ph.D. in Management Science from the Estonian Business School where she was also teaching prior to joining the faculty of Tallinn University. Her MEd degree is in educational science and political science from Frostburg University, USA. Her main research interests include public sector innovation, strategic management, inter-sectorial cooperation models, social innovation and entrepreneurship.
