Participative Session 15: Social enterprise in education - opportunities & challenges

Participative Session 15: Social enterprise in education - opportunities & challenges

Friday 29th September 1:30PM - 3:00PM Christchurch Art Gallery, Philip Carter Family Auditorium
Introduction: Sussie Morrish
Facilitator: Prof Brad Jackson

Social enterprise is taught inconsistently across education systems in the developed world. This session is an opportunity to discuss a range of initiatives - including some discreet but highly innovative ones - and assess the impact they've had on the next generation of leaders. What are our options around teaching or encouraging the development of social entrepreneurial spirits amongst the next generation of business leaders? What are the pros and cons of a coordinated approach? What can we learn from each other?
