With rampant consumerism and waste being widely recognised issues of the developed world, this is an opportunity to take stock of the range of interventions from across the ecosystems, assess what has worked and what hasn't, and explore the role social enterprise can take to not only minimise waste but shift mindsets and attitudes on the longer term. What are the direct and indirect benefits of a circular economy? How can we practically move on to a circular economy? What interventions are required to successfully re-design the way our whole economy works? What role should social enterprise play?
